Before
The property is a large house in the suburbs of Budapest with an unused 100 m2 attic. The attic roof was not insulated at all and there was no sub-floor. There was no electrical or plumbing system.
Challenges
- Insulating the roof entirely with the appropriate woolrock products
- Creating a new electrical and plumbing system from scratch
- Creating a new sub-floor of 100 m2
- Creating a new heating system with a new gas boiler
- Creating openings and installing 6 velux windows
After
Maintaining our client’s vision of a cosy and lit new loft, we managed to complete this project on time. After our client has chosen which flooring and tiles he would like, we will move on to execute the final stage of the project.

- A well-insulated roof
- A new bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room
- A functional new electrical, water and heating system
Our client was satisfied with the results and is currently deciding on the finishing materials for his project. After the final stage of the project, our client will be able to move into his new loft. All in all, this has been a complex project that required the full extent of our ability. We enjoyed working on the conversion.
